Staff / Student Travel Plan Survey 17th to 28th November 2008

Cambridge Regional College is seeking to promote a Green Travel Plan to encourage a reduction in the number of journeys to and from the College that are undertaken by car by its staff and students.

The key aims of the Travel Plan for the College are to promote more convenient, safer, and practical methods of travelling to and from College for staff and students. At the same time, the Travel Plan will seek to encourage participation and raise awareness in the environment and our obligations to reduce the impact upon it.

To assist in the creation of the Travel Plan, it is important for us to determine the current and future travel habits of staff and students. The collation of such data will enable us to create the most suitable Travel Plan for the College and ensure that where reasonably possible, the individual circumstances of each member of staff are considered when implementing future travel initiatives e.g. one of the outcomes of our Travel Plan is that we are required to implement College Parking Regulations, which may or may not involve charging for parking – it is therefore vital that we get as many surveys as possible completed so that we can make informed decisions that meet the needs and aspirations of the College and its many users.

We should therefore be grateful if you could spare a few minutes to complete the Questionnaire (by placing a cross (x) in the appropriate boxes) and return it by 28^th November 2008. The Survey will start at 8.00am on Monday 17^th November and will end at 5.00pm on Friday 28^th November 2008. The Questionnaire should only take 5 minutes to complete and can only be completed electronically . Respondents will be automatically entered in to a prize draw to win £100 in PC World vouchers.
